Cording Camp - Week 2

Calculating your thread & Playing with scale

Hi there, this week is all about calculating your thread and scale for your project. Below, we talk about both calculating the length and calculating the thickness. I think this is a matter of persona preference , though  I do think thinner cording is seen more in the "Shop Style" finish.

Don't forget about our weekly office hours!

Cording Thickness By Project

Get my guidelines for cording thickness by project for a perfectly scaled twist cord everytime

Homework

This week, get comfortable using the calculator and working with cording that is smaller or larger than your typical cording style. Could scaling your cording smaller give you more of a "shop style" finish that you're after?

Could making thicker cording give you a better twist cord for a 13 or 10 mesh project?

Make two twist cords.
