The Needlepoint Finishing Fairy exists to elevate the magic of needlepoint finishing through online tutorials & guides, workshops & events, and finishing services. We believe that all needlepointers should know and experience the magic and craftswomanship that goes into needlepoint finishing.​
We empower stitchers to learn to finish their own needlepoint in formats accessible to them while appreciating and highlighting the expertise offered through LNSes or independent finishers.
​You can learn to finish your own needlepoint in a "true shop style" with a beautifully professional exterior and industry best practices of acid-free materials and glue-free techniques where possible.
Meet Amanda
I'm Amanda Metes, founder of The Needlepoint Finishing Fairy. I believe that everyone can learn the magic of needlepoint finishing. I began my needlepoint journey as a pandemic stitcher and started finishing my own projects out of sheer impatience and an eye on my budget. Today, I share my own needlepoint finishing in hopes of inspiring and informing others.

Are you accepting finishing?
At this time, I am only able to offer finishing services to existing clients. If this changes, email subscribers will be the first to know. Occasionally, if I'm interested in trying a new format, I will open up one or two slots for a new format (e.g. Limoges boxes, Tree toppers, etc). These will be shared through my email contact list.

Substack is a writing platform where creators can share, connect, and host communities. The Needlepoint Finishing Club is hosted on Substack.

Do you offer finishing classes?
I offer free Finish-Alongs (online classes) to The Needlepoint Finishing Club members and offer select finishing topics in person at retreats, LNSes, or groups. Learn more about events here.
